Salmon through many pictures, few words

I wanted to try something new. So for this recipe I will have many pictures showing the steps along the way, but still include a few words to make sure the recipe is still understandable. One of my all time favorite things to eat is a nice good quality piece of salmon. Although it can be seen as complicated, this recipe makes cooking salmon easy, and tastes great at the same time. A lot of what makes salmon taste great is the seasoning. Here is the way I like to make salmon, through pictures.

Ingredients (Serves 3):

-Salmon ~1.25 pounds

-Oil

-White wine

-Salt & Pepper

-Lemon

-Dittmers Dust (optional)

-Hot Lava (optional)

Start by preheating the oven at 400 degrees.

Notice how there is still skin on the salmon. In the picture above, the liquid being poured over the salmon is lemon juice. Don’t pour to much!

The wine that you can chose, can be any white wine for cooking, but it should not be a sweet one. The liquid being poured on the two bottom pictures is E.V.O.O.

The seasoning on the first picture is salt and pepper. If you like lemon zest, you can add it. As for me I always love the taste it gives to the salmon. Also, “Dittmer’s Dust” is a spice mix from the local butcher, Dittmers.

The “Hot Lava” seasoning is from Kauai from Salty Wahine Gourmet Hawaiian Sea Salts. Set the timer for 12 minutes and at 400 degrees. This salmon goes nicely with some rice, but no cheese! Enjoy, and thanks for reading, and as always if you have any questions, leave a comment below.
