Food Trucks!

Today I spent the day with my family going to different food trucks. It was amazing. We had a great time on Treasure Island at the flea market and there was so much great food. We went to two different trucks for lunch and two for dessert and coffee. We went to Curry-up, an Indian truck, and Sam’s ChowderMobile a Californian truck. At Curry-up we had two amazing dishes. One was chicken curry mix with rice and the other was a vegetarian version of that. They were both great but the aftertaste of the dishes was quite spicy. We ate that while we were waiting in line for the ChowderMobile. The ChowderMobile had the longest line. It was worth it though. At the ChowderMobile, we of course had to have there signature chowder, calamari, and lobster roll. I loved the chowder, but it got very cold fast because it was windy. I loved loved loved the calamari. It was not too greasy at all. It came with a great dipping sauce. The sauce was some sort of ranch. The lobster roll was very good. It was so good, but I only got one bite because my mom devoured it in no time. The lobster roll came with some amazing coleslaw. For dessert my mom and dad went to a cute little espresso truck. They had espresso’s and they loved it. I went to Harvey’s Doughnut Truck. He sells these cute mini doughnuts. Unfortunately, they only come by the dozen, but you couldn’t resist especially since you could see how they were made outside in a machine. I took the half and half. Half of the doughnuts were cinnamon sugar and the other half were powdered sugar. They tasted really good and they weren’t too sweet. I shared them with my parents and there was only one left in the end. Overall it was a great experience. It wasn’t too cheap but it was definitely worth the 40 minute drive. I hope you try out some food trucks because they are the new hip thing!

Thank you all my readers!
